When angels and demons are one in the same

They're constantly calling your name

In the quiet hours they'll whisper to you,

"Isn't there something more you can do?"

In the day to day rush your memory of them begins to fade

But you'll never take for granted the people in your life who have stayed

In your sleep they come calling again, pulling you in

You won't be rested

molested

beaten and broke

compressions

bagging and stroke

just a little poke

Wearied, you awaken to the life that you love

Revering the damp grass that you walk on and the silent sky above

With feet firm on the ground the doors slide open, accepting you in

The angels and demons are waiting within
